This Hazel New garden project was designed to create a bright, practical and beautifully structured outdoor space for family living. Reformed Gardens transformed the garden with a raised patio, wide garden steps, fresh lawn, timber fencing, planting borders, outdoor lighting and a bespoke pergola seating area.
The upper terrace creates a generous space for relaxing, dining and entertaining directly outside the home. Light paving was used to brighten the area and give the garden a clean, elegant finish. The raised position also provides a clear view across the lawn and planting below.
A central set of steps connects the patio to the lower garden, creating a strong visual feature and a smooth transition between the two levels. Timber retaining beds help frame the space while adding warmth and natural texture.
The lower garden was finished with a large lawn, giving the family an open and usable area for everyday enjoyment. Planting borders were added along both sides to soften the boundaries and introduce colour, greenery and seasonal interest.
New timber fencing improves privacy, while the pergola creates a defined seating area on the patio. The combination of timber, paving, lawn and planting gives the garden a warm and welcoming feel.
Garden lighting was also included to highlight the planting and make the space feel inviting in the evening. The finished result is a modern, functional and attractive garden that works beautifully for outdoor living.
